The Scholar degree is the second level of recognition available for students. 

In order to earn the Scholar degree:

  • A student must take 25 hours of classes spread among any of the Colleges.
  • The scholar must also teach an additional 25 hours in a chosen college.
  • These classes must have taken place during at least 6 RUM events.
  • The maximum number of hours that can be earned for any individual class or workshop is 4 hours.
  • These hours include the hours that would have previously earned the Fellow degree.
  • An individual class may only count towards the credit count once (no duplicates)

The designation for this degree would be Scholar of the College of _______.
