The Philosopher degree is the third, and highest, level of recognition available for students.

In order to earn the Philosopher degree:

  • A student must take 100 hours of classes spread among any of the Colleges.
  • These classes must have taken place during at least 10 RUM events.
  • The maximum number of hours that can be earned for any individual class or workshop is 4 hours.
  • These include the hours that would have previously earned the Fellow and Scholar degrees.
  • An individual class may only count towards the credit count once (no duplicates)
