The Magistar degree is the second, and highest, level of recognition available for instructors.

In order to earn the Magister degree:

  • An instructor must teach 20 classes spread among any of the Colleges.
  • These classes must have taken place during at least 10 RUM events.
  • These include the classes that would have previously earned the Lector degree.
  • The topics taught must be at least 10 unique classes (no more than 2 repeats of each class).
